You all should do some research about how hard it is to be granted a green card. I know somewhat wealthy businesspeople who are here on work visas (but lack green cards). Should they come on a work visa? Maybe, but they are not granted to everyone. As a college grad maybe I could hope to get one... IF my skills happen to be in demand. How is an ILLITERATE PEASANT to get one, though? Maybe they shouldn't cross over but this is not a question of evil intent as this guy wants to assert.

Well they say once one culture enters another "When in rome" they act on how the people of that land/area do. For example Americans have an average of 1.4 kids which is way down 2 kids since the 70's. Mexican children average 4.5 kids today. Each 10 yrs they say it will decline one child. So basically by 2050 Mexican families will only have 17 kids per household. (LOL) The negative thiing is all those kids automatically become American citizens yet the parents decline it? Why?

Here's my reason for not wanting illegals from Mexico (although I bet my reason differs from conservative's reasons) it's over-population. I think this world has forgotten that over-population is eating our resources gas, trees, water, etc. Mexico is generally a Catholic country and they are encourage to "create" as many kids as they can. They have over-populated in their country which means less jobs for them there and now they mean to do the same to our country.

cont'.....I wouldn't mind Mexicans coming here "legally" so much if they would keep their family size to 1 or 2 kids per family but they don't seem to have a concept over-population and it's impact on resources. If you have Mexican friends try asking them about the impact of over-population on resources and watch the blank expression on their faces. Everyone thinks breeding uncontrolled is their god given right but NOT when it takes away resources from my family!

Now answer this: Will an increase in immigration fees increase or decrease illegal immigration? It was hard enough going the legal route before, now it is more costly too.
