Les Dames du Soleil, a drag comedy troupe based in Palm Springs, California.)

Pearcy and Woodmansee founded the organisation in 1994 and have frequency longed for a opening since. Montez assimilated them in 2001.

The costumes were a uncover in themselves, and the low-pitched figures were boisterous as always. Some long-time favorites, similar to Maud's operatic "Love's Echo," had fans baggy with delight before her lips proposed moving.

This year's extra performers were "Lisa" and "Syetlana," along with masculine dancers Jim Evans and Martin Coogan , who choreographed and achieved two intelligent figures as the Dames Dudes. New this year was a special number, "Trashy Women," achieved by Rusty Rirder and Dottie.

Other key people who contributed to the uncover were announcer Craig Soto , theatre executive Casey Phillips , proffer photographer Dimitri Halkidis and dozens of DAP's 700 volunteers desirous by Louis Baro , who has piled up 13,000 proffer hours.

The Dames were respected with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars in 2007 and received an endowment as Outstanding Volunteers at the National Philanthropy Awards Luncheon final year.

More importantly, perhaps, they have warranted intense thankfulness from the thousands of men, women, young kids and animals who have been fed, clothed, protected and cared for by the gift supports they raise.

At intermission, Brinkman returned to the theatre with DAP house boss Curt Ringness to make an even bigger announcement.

Quoting from a e-mail sealed anonymous, Brinkman read: "When we schooled of this undertaking to DAP and other organizations for 17 years ... we resolved that this eventuality would be the best venue to publicize The Clark's Trust gift to DAP for $100,000."

This was the second time that The Clark's Trust, essentially by the efforts of the late Guy Lawson, has done a leading contribution to DAP.

The evening's leading sponsors and donors enclosed the Renaissance Hotel, Acqua Pazza, Alexander Productions, The Bottom Line, Brilliant Events Meetings, Classic Party Rentals, Live Magazine, Lulu California Bistro and Stephen Boyd Design.

DAP house members Curt Ringness, Jim Casey, Barbara Keller, Gregg Seller and Steve Kaufer were all list captains, along with Andy Linsky, Amanda Smith, Jean-Guy LaChance/John Williams, Dennis Plank, Mark Marshall, Bill Jones, David Erickson, Rick Hutcheson, Burt Fogelman, Rob Hathaway and Betty Wolf of the Eisenhower Foundation.

The dusk finished by raising more than $39,000 from guests, in addition to the $100,000 give from The Clark's Trust, to account DAP's services to more than 2,200 men, women and young kids living with HIV and AIDS.
