The video presents an afternoon with the New York artists. Artists' recollect the beginning of the New York School. Staring with the formation of the American Abstract Artists. The discussion emphasized the importance of Hans Hofmann's teaching in the early 1930s and the effect on the artists who went to study with him during the post world war II era by taking advantage of the GI bill.
