I put a bright LED light in my 64. I also put tin foil behind the 64 logo on the wall where the expansion pack is. I had to cut off alot of excess plastic to get the logo to shine as well. This project took 2 days and alot of trial and error. All those attempting this, contact me and I'll try my best to help

originally i was gonna spray paint this with the same paint job as my stone snes and add some eyes and an evil smile so it would look like a Thwomp rock from mario 64 but i lost patience with this project and stopped after i modded the light. i have a 2nd 64 i might try it on

ok,brother i just posted the new vid explaining how to mod your N64. i took so long cause nobody was selling a cheap N64 on craigslist so i shelled out 20 for an extra one. this is my first video i made with me actually speaking so its a little brief.lol hope it helps

  • @beaver10777 Ok im going to pick those things up this weeend, can't wait.

  • @CudiSkills

nice. if you're gonna attempt to mod ur n64,you'll need a few things. ur gonna need a special bit-tip to open ur n64. alot of classic gamestores sell them but dont advertise them so you'll have to ask the guy at the counter. then ur gonna need a 5MM LED of a color of ur choice. next, you'll need a soldering iron which is cheap and can be found at home depot or a radioshack along with the led. from there, you'll just have to watch the next video i'll film soon. prolly this weekend

  • @beaver10777 yes man sounds great! And i just got a n64 from this local store called classics where they sell only old systems game and accesories. Got mine for 20$

  • @CudiSkills

thats sounds simple enough. i'll do it the next time i get a spare n64. i get them for cheap at my local goodwill and flea markets. but now that i think about it, im willing to give it a shot. i'll have to plan it out cause obviously i dont want to waste 5 minutes taking the screws out. lol i guess i'll do that beforehand so i can just dive right into the stuff ppl want to see.

  • @beaver10777 ok but all you would have to do is just set the camera where we can see you modding your nintendo and talk us through it :)

  • @CudiSkills

i would but i have a really shit camera and i dont know how to make videos properly like alot of these here on youtube that are edited all badass with music and all. and besides, i learned how to do all these mods that i have uploaded on my page from watching alot of youtube videos myself. its all pretty easy
