It wasn't a MotoGP race, it was the World Supersport race at Brands Hatch in 2008. Craig Jones fell and (it's hard to see in this version as the quality is poor) his head is clipped by the rider behind (Andrew Pitt), which is the reason why Jonesy spun down the circuit in the manner he did. Another inch the other way and he'd have walked away :(
Greg Moore was Champcar, and what about Rodriguez? He died just a few weeks after Greg Moore in the same sport.
And RIP to everyone who was shown crashing to their deaths doing what they love, and to those spectators that were shown in the tragic 1955 crash at Le Mans, and to all the motorsport drivers who died that aren't in this video.
@EverySocondOfMine looks like he went head first into the ground at the start of the crash
