Kurt Elling & Klüvers Big Band - Norwegian Wood HQ (Sweden '11)

Kurt Elling is an American jazz vocalist - a baritone with a four-octave range - a composer, lyricist and vocalese performer (the art of writing and performing words over improvised jazz solos). In 2007, Elling's lyrics were published in a book by Circumstantial Productions and in 2010 he got his first Grammy award.

Klüvers Big Band is a Danish big band. It was formed in 1977 by a group of young music students under the leadership of Jens Klüver. Since then the orchestra has worked with a long line of international and Danish soloists.

In 2002 Jens Klüver received the Ben Webster Prize in recognition of his work with the big band.

I just love listening to this man. I had the fortune of seeing him back in 2004. I have been trying to see him again but keep missing him. If anyone has a chance to see Kurt Elling in person you won't be disappointed. Love you Kurt!!!!
