well, this is a debate that's been going on for a while (ever since lobinger cleared 6m, since hooker won gold at the olympics and since lavellenie went 6.01). They all drop the lead knee, but is it really good? supposedly, dropping the lead knee, can add more energy to the pole, but it also slows the swing down (less energy). But what's better? fast swing, or the added loading, of dropping the lead knee? Bubka didn't drop, so I won't drop haha, that's my stand. -6P
eh, i'd try to stay away from the knee-drop, entirely, but that's a preference thing. A free take off, is achieved when a vaulter plants the pole, and is jumping off the ground, just before the pole tip hits the back of the plant box
EXCELLENT!! really great technician. Free take-off, great bottom arm, good drive and snap. And a nice, long, powerful swing!! I don't like that little drop in the knee, but it's not major. Keep it up!!!
beautyful vault

Well, that was a clear 5.70 jump, at least 10 cm higher.

That was long jump.
I think, in the future you will become better and better...
