The UTG TV crew met up with Disciple as they supported Thousand Foot Krutch on their "Welcome To The Masquerade" tour for an acoustic performance of their latest single, "Dear X, You Don't Own Me." The group's latest effort, Horeshoes and Hand Grenades, is in stores now via INO Records.

  • Disciple is one of the few bands that sound the same recorded as they do live. Theyre right up there with TFK and Skillet.

  • Drop c tuning (you can play it in drop D). It seems like it's based off the power chords on the low string (which is nice in drop tuning) with some accents and slight variations/accents to the notes. I can't figure out where his fingers are when he first goes into the chorus where he slides from first to third fret on what seems like the fourth string

  • @dgates77 It's drop c (you could play the same way in drop d), I'm not sure on the chords, but I'm learning from watching. I think it's a lot of power chords with accents in the higher strings, The power chords are easier since it's in a drop tuning you just bar the top three strings

  • He's 32 and Disciple has been going on for 19. He was 13 when they officially started in December of 1992.
