  • I'm not sure what building you meant . . . there was a huge Inglis plant on the W side of Strachan Ave. that was demolished in 1995 or 96 . . . part of it was the old Women's Prison, which is still there beside new condos and townhouses. Did you mean the A. R. Williams Machinery building beside the new Metro store?
