I am glad that the Bald Eagle did recover, and I hope that she, "Harriet," soon gets for her dinner some smoked salmon or halibut. It is a good thing. Love.

The bald eagle has been the national bird of the United States since 1782. Congress officially chose the bald eagle to represent the USA in 1789. Unlike other eagles, the bald eagle was indigenous only to North America.
