@Chrislav7 But from what perspective are they taught? I don't think this song is saying those cultures aren't acknowledged, it's saying they're ground out and homogenized in practice. Those cultures are quaint relics, not living cultures we could learn from. Historically, "civilization" has meant white European culture. Has that mentality really vanished, or just gotten more discreet? I think that's more the point he's making.

Love the song butttttt..... African, Asian, and Hispanic culture has always been taught in books and in literature.
