@porcupineinteruptus Weed will do that kind of shit to you. Teenage Polar Bear, who would have wrote a song about some 14 year old Polar Bear? In Montrose's Bad Motor Scooter where it says "there's a red bridge that arcs the bay" I use to sing (straight and sober no less) it "there's a rat race and I'm to blame".

That's a custom built guitar in the Explorer shape. If you notice it's got a Les Paul style headstock.The Explorers either came with a "hockey stick" or a "reverse v" shape for their headstock shapes. I've got to dig up my old Guitar Player with Rick on the cover and get the details of this guitar.
