You might think your fish are from Winnipeg, but that is where the plant is ... all of the fish from every prairie province goes to Winnipeg to be processed (old fish) which means you get the good and the bad all mixed together

every fish caught in Manitoba, Sak., Alberta must go through FFMC or it cannot be exported from the provinces .. thats the law .... thats how we know your fish comes from FFMC ... also ... their fish is smaller???? what does that mean??? every fish starts out small!! just buy the size you want.

The Great Lakes is a sustainable fishery ... the Canadian government monopoly in weestern Canada (your supplier) is not sustainable.. they need to stock the lakes to keep the fishery going. Want to hear more ...

The remote areas also lack adequate ice and cold storage. Most fish travel to the plant with their stomach cavities gutted because they'll rot before they get there. Please note all of the scales on your fillets .... gutted fish do not scale properly. That is just one point to prove you are full of it! Bashing the Great Lakes fishery does not help your cause ...

You sure like to bash the Great Lakes .... to bad you don't know what you are talking about. The inland lakes of the Canadian prarie provinces you get your fish from are miles from civilization and most fish are days old before they get to the processing plant.

freshwater fish marketing corporation FFMC is a government monopoly - a federal crown corporation .. the great lakes fish procvessors are on the shores of the lake... the FFMC plant is in wininpeg and fish travel from upto 1000++ miles before they get processed !!!! are you seriuosly saying that your fish is fresher than great lakes

I just re-watched this video and don't see any mention of FFMC or that my fish are "fresher". They are from Winnipeg however and are better than the Great Lakes and more expensive. First they're smaller which is better. Hours from civilization make them hours from pollution. Mercury anyone? Lake Erie ever been on fire? In all seriousness, I do sometimes buy other fish from the Great Lakes, (Lake Superior smelt in particular) But the best quality fish is from up north
