Connect, Awaken, and Share is a 2-and-a-half-hour workshop in which catechetical leaders are whisked through a series of activities, interactions, stories, reflections, and prayers, each one conveying a way or means to engage parents in the faith formation of their children. The facilitators model the approach and the energy that can work to be more inviting, honoring, and engaging with the parents—just as they hope the parents will be with them. Participants not only receive ideas they can share with their catechists, but also take home a booklet that gives a thorough explanation of each of the ideas and activities presented.
