look at it this way if the businesses are going bankrupt will the employees give back some money to help the owner. hell no we'd all scream and kick and blame it on their 'bad' investment practices. don't get me wrong I'm part of the 99% making below 30K. but it just sad how we think we are entitled to other people's success.
amazing either those business are extremely loyal or just SOL i mean if I'm investing my money I'd like to maximize profits. and like it or not business are investments hence there's a chance of losing money. and here we are telling our investor they have to distribute their profit to help the poor. sickening.
@CWSmith03111982 Yes because we all know that education is so inexpensive in the states. Give me a break, we need to have a living wage so people can pay for college and get out of the lower income bracket. When I was in my twenties I tried to apply for a student loan and they would only give me half of what the tuition was, so how can you pay for an education on minimum wage, while paying for housing, a car, and all the other expenses?
I living wage is whatever it takes to house and feed a family of 4 one miles form their place of employment.
What do you need to house and feed a family of four, make sure their have medical dental, education, and retirement covered, vacations, sick leave, and a little profit of top for their efforts of wasting their productive lives making the owner rich? The rich refuse to pay this and demand millions of illegals they can use and we all pay for via taxes so they can max out profits
These laws are both job killers and incentives to be less productive. Productive and educated people are fought over by employers and the demand for skilled labor creates higher wages. If your lazy, uneducated, have no job skills, and are unproductive then there is no one who will fight for your labor and thus you get a low wage if you want to work at all. However, If you give high wages and benefits to the unproductive then whats the incentive to become productive? There is none.
But is the increased satisfation and loyalty the result of the higher wages or the result of having higher wages than other places? (i.e. Are they happy because they get $9 or because $9 is $1 more than their alternative?)

You are a commie.
No no no. If you make minimum wage, it is best you suck off the tax payer for medical, dental, education, child care, housing, and food stamps.
Because fuck man, it is best the capitalist max out profits with all the money they refuse to pay you, and make the tax payer cover your cost.
You think this is the good old days when a person could earn their way in life.
Fuck no man, if is all about capitalist profits!!!!
They mean more then you, or the tax payer...

@iwustudent101 You're comment really doesn't address the evidence they show that says the opposite. Why is that?
