Tyrone Halstead repeats as Canadian Junior Champion, running into a stiff wind. Philip Hayle is a close second, improving one place from last year, and Segun Makinde wins bronze.

This Halstead's 4th and last Junior Nationals. He placed 7th in 2005, then 4th in 2006 before his back-to-back wins.

those are kinda slow times

They were running into a strong negative wind. If the same wind were at their backs, the times would have been much faster.
