Thanks for your service. OH, differences, I would say the black coating would be more tactical (less light reflection) and second also prevents rusting, where the stainless steel you have to maintain more frequently.

You can get them on leatherman factory outlet. Com,,, for around 120 or so! And they are brand new!

@usarmyprepper the hammer is user replaceable. Just order a replacement part next time.

Also you can swap the blade and other powder coated parts if you like the stelth version more - tool looks good though

I like hearing about customer service quality :) Quite impressive how they've handled it.

However, did you contact them again for the Black Oxide version? It is more expensive than the stainless steel one after all, and usually they replace with the same or better quality.

How has the blade held up. It's only 420 which is pretty bad but it gets pretty sharp.
