I like her without make up. Too bad women have been brainwashed by the make up industry.

Eartha Kitt was a champion and did not even know it. She had class, wit, intelligence. Simply a terrific woman.

witness "black friday" where greed sets in so bad people will trample each other and say things as "I'll kill to get into the store."
Eartha was ahead of her time, even when she told First Lady Johnson what was wrong with the Vietnam War, and poverty in America. She was an amazing woman.

I like that "Quality and not quantity"!
-
yeah I know it's from 1980, that's my point! She knew the direction this country was heading way before anyone else. No wonder she was blacklisted from the U.S. Remember 911 and now the endless war. The Patriot Act and Homeland Security shut everybody up in regards to dissent. But not Eartha., speaking out against the vietnam war. At least she ended up in Europe, where the clothes and food you eat are actually manufactured there.

@nyclights526 ..... Why because she put it in the most simple term? Better cars, better food, better fabrics. When greed sets in quality takes a back seat, period. It's not rocket science!

she does look beautiful without makeup. He has inner beauty as well.

Very eloquent and well spoken and truthful. I wish performers today would understand the importance of quality of quantity.

I was fortunate to see Ms Kitt perform in Australia on two separate occasions.
I loved her unique style, her voice, her sexual presence, in that she was all woman, in the form of a lady.
That voice, that teqnique, that presence and that beguiling feminity will never be replaced.
Eartha reached out to you in a way that seemed almost personal, either through her recordings or in concert.
Thank you Eartha.
Boy she hit the nail on the head in regards to "quality." The U.S. 2010 today. Massive corporate profits and we the American people in a soup bowl of garbage. The obesity capital of the world shoving piles of crappy buffet food on our plates after shopping at flimsy Wal-Mart.
