this is a re-edited version of a clip I posted earlier.
The head of Security at Sussex university stops filming of a police arrest at a peace protest outside the university. Part of the Smash EDO demo, October 15 2008.
I mostly wanted to see this as I was annoyed by Roger's use of the term 'My Property' to describe Sussex University. Its the property of the people of Sussex,surely, and perhaps those who have paid to study there.
@VoroninTwilight
It's very late, I know ... 4 months late, in fact ... but the VC never called the police. The Head of Security called the police. The VC had nothing to do with it.
The six students also didn't get expelled. Unfortunately.

Fucking Students poncing of the tax payers. You cunts should be studying instead of causing shit all the time. Hope a few more get battered by the police as might knock some fucking sense into your thick skulls.

Vice-chancellor called the police, claiming that students were after "his documents".
Police handled things very well, as you can see. *sarcasm*
3 people got arrested. (Picked at random from the 50 who occupied sussex house)
6 people got expelled.
Way to go Michael Farthing.

The food at Sussex University is disgusting, there is no decent food to be had anywhere within 5 miles.
There idea of good food is a ginsters pasty, there is no decent canteen at all, just pies and baked beans, it makes me sick im here everyday.

I went to this university and i am shocked by what appears to be an unnecessary overreaction by the police and sadly their actions will be all justified in the name of terrorist legislation.
