Well this is different, I'm a great Contra fan, I've played all the episodes, and the first game is for me especially hard because it's non-stop action, you have to be on your guard every seconds to avoid shots. Battletoads is a pain in the ass, but it's way more obstacles and plate-forme oriented, enemies are not a problem in this one. Once you memorized the levels layouts, you can beat them quite easily. I didn't played it in ages, and in three days, i can get to level 7 without continues !

Most part of this game is "easy" because it's not like a Contra game, there's not a lot of ennemies coming from everywhere, anytime, to rape your ass, you have to memorize levels to blast them. But this level is, I think, quite hard because it's not just a memorization, it's very much about reaction speed, and sometimes the bike goes weird, too slow to go up or down, that's the real difficulty. Otherwise it's hard, yes, but not impossible, I think Contra was worse, especially Shattered Soldier.
