Tesla is (was?) an interesting person. As are the things he built.

I'm just starting to really look into what was up with him.

@mofoCutThroat I used to do this sort of thing in years gone by, good fun, just remember to wear something like ski gloves when you are doing it as 25,000 volts does hurt !!! if you touch the wrong bit of the flyback EHT transformer

Easily done with an old television just apply an amplified audio signal to (in this case) the vertical deflection coils whilst applying a fairly rudimentary oscillator to the horizontal deflection coils - its not far off being an oscilloscope
