Fuchsia, Please google Huckabee and you will read many testimonials from folks in Arkansas who have known Governor Huckabee all their lives and will tell you "he is the real deal". I know he seems too good to be true, but he is authentic. This man needs to be in Washington.

I can't support him. I think he's very insincere. I prefer a candidate who gets straight to the point and tackles the source of American problems instead of using "wit" to dodge important issues. I find that disgusting.

It's also been shot down by economists and tax fairness groups. I make money, I save money, and I consume. I'm not for a 23% federal sales tax added onto the tax allready applied to new products. It will take more away from me than the federal income tax and it will discourage consumption, which is a heavy factor in the economy.

Do you even know what the "intelligent alternative to the income tax" would be??? Seriously. Alot of people just like the FairTax because they like Huckabee, but they know nothing about it. Do you want to get rid of the IRS and the income tax but then get penalized for being a consumer (especially if you have a family), or do you just want to get rid of the IRS and the income tax... period?

tomworthing is a liar !! Huckabee has endorsed the Fair Tax (which would eliminate the IRS) since he started his campaign. If you are not familiar with this intelligent alternative to the income tax, you should be. tomworthless seems to believe multi-posting will make his erroneous portrayal of the facts true. He's just another Sad Sack for Paul. Shameful!

Huckabee was pretty cool in Iowa, but i didn't caucus for him. = ( He's a pretty good canidate though.
