God this game rocks so hardcore... I miss my amiga 400 :( This game should have been on the ds... I wonder who owns the video game rights to heroquest if anyone... there should be a modern Heroquest game...

@KingamongmenIIV I can actually really relate to what you're saying. It's such an abstract thought now, but just how mysterious to me games like Hero Quest, Heimdall and Gods were to me.. I wonder if any kids nowadays get that off modern games, and will grow up later to think 'well, that was an entirely different era...'

If you like this tune as I am you shall also try to find the gitary tune from the Amiga´s version of the soundtrack for Ultima V. s hard to find but it is also a very good piece of music. If I find a link to it I´ll tell you.

Anyway, I´ve discovered a place on the internet called Barry Leitch Audio Studios, an outdated one I think, which haves a remake of this tune created by Barry itself It´for a cd release of many Amiga uptated musics called Inmortal. This version has even a vocal choir!

Well, to be honest I´ve never heard about 4-Mat; I know about Barry Leitch because his name was attached to the file of the archive when I download the music file, and I Have downloaded many times from different sites along the years.

Thanks for the information. Is Barry Leitch perhaps the original composer with 4-Mat being responsible for the Amiga conversion?
There seems to be no background in Wikipedia... :(

One of the best games of all time. It was fun and mysterious. The downside of this game is never finished, you could not check completed assignments.

I really enjoyed this game for a while but ultimately the gameplay is limited by the overly simple combat system.
