@LarryScottBB Yes,our history is more related to Sicily than North Africa indeed.
-
@LarryScottBB It's like comparing the Irish to the English. They seem similar but they are not. Mind you, there is a portion of Sicilian influence but it is just a small one compared to the influence left by the British and the Knights in their tradition and folklore.

@kahlani racially and culturally, you've more in common with Sicily than Italy or north african countries
-
@CaptCavemanUK : so? aren't there some short tempered people in the UK? :)

Congratulations for your national holiday today Malta!!!
In 1964 Malta became independent from the United Kingdom, means today its your 47ts birthday!!! Great. Two years ago I visit Malta in my vacations and it was amazing. Brilliant weather great landscape and coasts and cultural Highlights in Famagusta/Valetta brilliant. Wish all Maltese people a great day and a good future
Best wishes from your friends in Germany ^^
Malta is 1 of the most brave and selfless countries around the world. Although it was partly the British Army's fault we were suffering that much in World War 2, we kept our heads up, struggled, blamed nobody for it, and pushed on till the end of the war.
We earned the George Cross by merit, not by default. And although we are a small nation, we a united nation.
Viva Malta!!!!!!
