if its good for camping or rv-ing why an air intake on the bttm to suck up dirt. just dump engineering?

I purchased this from Home Depot!! and it worked as a charm!! I was able to connect my laptop, stereo (not mine but a weird neighbor), and a commercial printer. It last for the full 5 or more hours.
I am a photographer and I took pictures of everyone in the playground. I was able to edit the pictures with the laptop (connected to the generator), and print it on a high commercial printer (connected to the generator).... I spent the $ 299 and made $ 674 that night!

I paid $ 300 for the 2000i! It was on sale and I did enjoyed using it!
