The last part of a walk through the woods behind Egg Harbor Lake, and next to the lake, plus the beginning of a walk through the ghost town of Gloucester Furnace. This is in Atlantic County, NJ in the Pine Barrens

  • On the banks of the stream, where the lake used to be, there's a lot of slag. Also in the uplands, south of the dirt road, there's bits of slag scattered in the sand on the ground.

  • I heard of this "Gloucester Furnace" it was one of the earliest furnaces in that area. Is there any remments of it's existence? Slag, etc.
