Actually I don't think they need to speak English themselves. When western artists go to Asia, they only learn a few words in local language, just enough to greet their fans. Still, their fans won't blame them for not speaking local languages. The key to win is to promote originality, not to twist it. Also, translated lyrics like those in "Ookoe Daiyamondo" will destroy their characteristics IMO, and Akimoto should just leave the localization job to native professionals.
