ok so the guitar might be a little shinier than the crate/stool/drum, but the point is that both these men built what they are playing! Luthier and singer-songwriter Paddy Burgin (www.burginguitars.co.nz and www.myspace.com/burginguitars) performing at the opening of Frank Kitts Market, Saturday 12 December 2009. Paddy is accompanied by Bruce McNaught who is playing a cajon, which - I'm reliably told is a wooden crate with a screw or two loose, an instrument hailing from Central America. Also starring caricature artist Andrew Dunn (aadunn77@hotmail.com), lamps by Zamm Lights (www.zamm.co.nz), pink polker dot accessories by Corntree (www.corntree.net) and Dancing Robot Boy On Patrol, among others.
