  • Reality check: No, MJ is not an invincible basketball god that can't be touched in any way. And yes, there are guys who can be compared up there with Jordan in different ways. Kobe is comparable with MJ in skill. Basketball purists like me watch games, basketball idiots like you along with your clan members watch boxscores and highlights on ESPN.

  • Kid, dont even try to compare Kobe with M.J. cuz he is not even close to M.J.'s level.

  • Skillwise, yes he is, if not even better than Jordan.

Accomplishment/accolades-wise, no, no one in the NBA right now will even be close to MJ at the end of their careers.

  • Great series these two teams had in the early 2000s. Portland got screwed so many times.

  • kobe is not better than mj... hes great but mj is legendary even kobe said mj is the greatest of all time. phil jackson said that wtf??

  • 5:03 sick handling by the greatest

  • i'm sick of all your dick suckers saying mj is untouchable .. hes not a god you bitches and kobe has better skils and much better range and whatever you say can't change that .. mj got a lot of help to win remember before pippen he did shit .. he has a better body and strenght but thats it .. so shut the fuck up we will compare them and at the end if kobe gets more than 6 rings he will be GOAT .. deal with it ..

  • with all this talk about lebron being compared to jordan its not true lebron might be as good jordan athletic wise but that's all if you really want to compare its kobe vs mj kobe has 5 rings jordan has 6 six...KOBE IS THE CLOSEST THING TO JORDAN HANDS DOWN

  • Also you gotta admit, Jordan was a beast, just like LeBron. They both are more athletic than Kobe. I can prolly name at least 5 more players that is more athletic than Kobe(Dwight, Pippen, VC, T-Mac, KG, maybe Wade/Rose). So Kobe isn't really that special, he just works harder than anyone else. How can you hate on that? If you love the game like myself, why not just see the good side? Nobody's perfect.

  • Simply put, Kobe = more range, better post game, better footwork, better ballhandling

MJ = more atheletic(speed, vertical, and driving hard), and more disciplined(clutch).

It's obvious that MJ has higher FG% if you look at both play. Their game is different, and similar in manys, but really, different. Imo, the most accurate conclusion would be that Jordan balanced out the time between working on his game and hitting the gym, where as Kobe prolly spent a little more on his game.

  • Realistically, Kobe does have unlimited skill range, just that his shot selection is really poor. Meaning that Kobe probably is the most skilled, but he does not control his enthusiasm as much as he should. But the fact is that there's really nothing that Kobe can't do. You gotta give props for that if you are a real basketball fan, because if you really are one, you should be able to tell how much work Kobe's put in, and you must respect that. MJ is the most clutch(discipline) tho, definitely.
