This is my "everything but the kitchen sink" video version of the title track from "50 Words For Snow", the wonderful seasonal album released by Kate Bush in 2011. This has been a real labour of love, and took many, many hours to make, so please, please do not block it! Thank you in advance (see below).

I am just a fan making video's and trying to adhere to youtube's copyright rules, which state "... now copyright management is easy & accessible for everyone; artists can let fans re-use their content, and fans can create promotional & business opportunities for their favourite artists making content-id a true win-win that enables new forms of creativity and collaboration around the world ..." Therefore my thanks go to SME and EMI for allowing this content to be posted under these rules.

No monetary value is made from the video or the audio, and I have made it under what I believe to be "Fair Use constitutes Copyright Disclaimer - Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.

Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favour of fair use."

No Copyright infringement Intended.

  • Vibes, you have excelled yourself ...... it will take hours to examine all these clips. My god, the effort, and they are all relevant. I must pass this to my daughter the cineaste - I'm sure she will be flummoxed. Do you have a crib sheet of all the films used?!

  • @flo15jo Oh when I replied to your Snowflake comment I didn't mean for you to get mixed up with 50WFS!! But now you mention it, let your daughter take a look at Snowed In At Wheeler St & see if she can name all the clips in that one .... then I'll let you know what went in to 50Words haha! Joking apart, I must make up a crib sheet for myself as I didn't make one while I was throwing everything in but the kitchen sink! Thanks for watching.

  • I came here because I'm interested in this musician, I didn't expect such care and artistry in the video. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into this, it's a work of art, well deserving of this provocative song. You should be proud of it.

  • @carshagify Thanks I am really proud of all the 50WFS and DC videos I've made, but then I wouldn't have been able to do them without Kate's beautiful music, so a big thank you to the lady herself!

  • What are the film clips? I recognise the Julia Ormond one. What's the Andrea Corr one? If you can't say in case the film companies catch wind and object PM me! Nice work!

  • @brk754 There's lots of clips in there, this took a long time to put together, so I can't tell you all of them and besides I always intended for the viewer to "enjoy" a bit of "film spotting", and hoped that the video would enjoy repeat plays because of this, and the song being great of course! You might enjoy my Snowed In At Wheeler Street if you like your movie spotting, btw the Andrea Corr one is a rarely seen movie called The Bridge!

  • Excellent work dear friend.I find this album exceptionally good and the way you put together the clips is amazing. My initial intention was to let it play and scroll through 9gag but it kept me absorbed.5 starts from me.

  • @vibesinthesky Agreed, the musician is the inspiration and again, congratulations on such a fine job. You did Kate and the song both proud.
