This latest treatment of Synge's classic play is the first installment in the Druid Synge series. On a mission to stage all seven works in the playwright's canon by the end of 2005, the company has begun by revisiting one of the texts that helped it to establish its reputation back in the 70s. Almost a century after its controversial premiere, 'PLAYBOY' has lost none of its power as it charts the impact on a tiny rural community of the arrival of a lonely wanderer and his tales of a "fearsome deed".

Cillian Murphy just isnt good in everything. At times his strong face is just too much. Seeing him in crap American films makes ones stomach vomit!
