Here's a scenario for ya. You've just been hired at a big company and there's computers all over the place and opritunity galor but you're not issued a password yet. Your trick is useless. This is only good if you're already in the gate.

Excellent! Thanks. I am interested now if that works in Vista or Windows 7. To use file sharing in Vista, you need to allow the port through the firewall first, then you can log on. Also, this would only work for a locally already-logged on system, since if you were remote you'd still have to authenticate with a remote user and pass to gain access to the computer.
