Misleading title, Cutter actually defends herself quite well in this interview. She's saying that the word caused this pseudo-outrage and distracted the campaign from the real issues, which it totally did.

Not only did she establish that it was the GOP who began the "unshackle" metaphor, but that Biden was merely continuing the metaphor the Romney campaign has been pushing.

We are electing the leader of the free world, stop arguing semantics and start debating the issues.
