I agree that it gives you a false sense of being connected...I'm more connected with someone on the phone (not texting) or skype or actual face to face time than any conversation on facebook...I used to be on Netmeeting, back in the day, and talked to strangers all over the world...it was exciting then, because it was so new and the concept of talking with someone at the other end of the world was great. It has lost its charm today, especially with facebook.

I am under 20 and I don't have a facebook. Myspace already had the idea. Facebook is overrated and overvalued. It does nothing to benefit my social life. I hope more people wake up and stop putting all their information online. No more "social" networks.

It's very important for human beings to feel they are popular and well-liked amongst a large group of people that we don't care for.
After seeing the "Seinfield explains Facebook in the 90's" video before this, it makes me glad to see he isn't a hypocrite. He still sticks to his beliefs and I respect that.
