Zanzibar!!

zanzibar was incredible. everything about it. after a quick 40 minute flight, we spent our first day in stone town, wandering through the endless narrow streets and alleys. we visited the old slave market (zanzibar was the last place in the world to end the slave trade) and the first anglican cathedral in east africa that replaced it. the next day we traveled to nungwi on the very northern tip of the island. the sand was white, the water clear and the sun hott. not much happened there for 3 days except a lot of laying on the beach. we went snorkling, i guess :). and ate a lot of chocolate cake that this random canadian woman sold.
