Attorney General-nominee Eric Holder Jr. declared Thursday that waterboarding is torture, forcefully breaking from years in which the Justice Department deftly avoided the sensitive question about U.S. interrogation methods. (Jan. 15)

  • @log140 Join our facebook page. Investtigate Bush administration for was crimes!

  • Mr. Holder: waterboarding is torture (and a war-crime)!! you mr holder have taken an oath to protect the constitution... since torture is against the law, it`s your duty to prosecute!!!!! don`t protect war-criminals....

  • holder is a lying turd, and leahy is a piece of garbage. They don't give a rat's ass about America, just their far-left sheepies.

  • Well, imagine how much Iraqi and Afganistani lives would have been saved if we were not there. And btw, the so called planned attacks were planned by us.

  • We hear that Khalid Sheik Mohammed was waterboarded and revealed vital information that saved thousands of lives due to planned attacks. But Democrats want to prosecute people in the Bush administration over this.

Is it too late to prosecute members of the Clinton Administration for killing American citizen children at Waco?

What does this tell you about Democrats?

  • 1 No contraire, mon frere; not a trap.

2 If I could marry my dog, I would.

3 She has been totally faithful, unlike my ex-wife (*_~)

  • You make false assumptions

1 In real life there are no ticking timebomb scenarios like in the movies

2 You assume there are no other quick effective methods but experts agree torture is not the best way to get info.

3 Studies show prisoners give false info and say anything under torture so anything you get won't save lives anyway

So the question is a trap. Can't be answered honestly

"Would you marry your dog if it was really Brad Pitt?" "Yes" "So marrying pets should be legalized" < Trap

  • We know where the torture chamber is. It's in the White House, in the basement of the office of the Vice President. In the last few days Cheney has not been seen in public. He has been taking some torture mementoes from his office, like a can used for waterboading, a couple of handcuffs he used on his wife as well, and some blood-stained ropes. If your see him call the FBI. But beware: he is as dangerous as ever.

  • Using extreme hypothetical situations it is possible to create a scenario that would justify almost anything. In the US 50000 family members die every year in auto accidents but does that mean we should lower all speed limits to 10mph? If your family just died in an accident you might think so. Just because it saves your family does it mean that we should increase the recruitment of terrorists inspired by what the world sees is the US doing war crimes? Are other tortures ok in your scenario too?

  • Only a seriously easily-led cretin would think that a little water in the nose is real torture.

Answer this question honestly, if that's possible.....if your family was going to be killed but their lives could be saved if a terrorist was waterboarded, would you approve of it?
