First Engine Start following a 6-month overhaul. The engine was shipped with preserving oil which, although rinsed out, evidently fowled the spark plugs. I was waiting for the engine to stop so I could attempt another start, but the engine just didn't want to quit.

  • This will happen if the primer isn't locked down.

  • hahahaha... this is cool..

  • What time is that like midnight? Just playing, that was a nice start up, though!

  • its real life mate lol,

do you have fs2004 if you go on multiplayer please tell me the server you go on and you name and maybe we could try formation flying and stuff is that ok if you dont mind

  • For a first start, that looked about normal. Very fast initial firing, followed by only about 40 seconds of purging the oil. I've seen high time O470s start worse than that! The IO540 is a great engine for a 182 and I bet it climbs well.

  • Haha..Really cool! Thats a 182 right? Love it.

  • that's halarious lmfao

  • thats funky

  • lol go little lycoming go go

  • Very very nice! What a great engine. I'm guessing....Lycoming?
