@xcosmicsoulx Not at all....looks like he smacks a lot of rims...and he's done a few times in these vids - also his rolls on the snare are not tight at all...might better to play a buzz roll in double really fast...just my opinion...all you will ever need for jazz.

He has quite the harmonic overtones coming from his snare when he press rolls near the rim. Kinda melodic
