This is so wrong. Gaddafi was not running out of money at all. Totally the opposite. Libya was cash rich with massive gold stores. He was actually in the process of setting up a new African currency which would have liberated the African nations from the US Dollar. Gaddafi had also cut back massivily on army to prevent being invaded under the Weapons of Mass Destruction lie that god Saddam. The mercenaries were actually on the rebels side paid for by the CIA.

@4244110 US interest in securing foreign oil reserves and the use of military force to defend that interest has been known since WW2 and was officially formulated by the Carter Doctrine. It doesn't matter if US got involved in Libya for oil or not, the NEW WORLD ORDER conspiracy is still left to speculations and belief.

Yes, they got the man who provided free healthcare, free education, free loans to his people, including the cities of Benghazzi where Al Qaeda rebels are based, and the man who built a man-made river to draw up water from under the Sahara Desert for his people, including the cities of Benghassi where the rebels came from.
