We agree with you 100%, however ultimately it is the client that decides. If the client decides that we must shred, then we shred. If not, then we always encourage reuse and credit the reuse value back to the clients or suggest donation as a method of reusing their equipment.

Actually, DBAN is the shareware version of EBAN which is what we use to wipe our client account drives that require data security services. GEEP has the right to EBAN, the enterprise version of DBAN. We use EBAN on all drives that are not obsolete, and only use the shredder option for those that require it.
