@solarboy27 Originally, Gold V-Dramon wasn't an evolution of V-mon. This was back when Bandai was a bit "V-Dramon happy" (but we did get V-mon out of the deal =)) Bandai made Gold V-Dramon and Red V-Dramon as Digimon who could each evolve into God Dramon or fuse together into Master V-Dramon. Eventually, Master V-Dramon just faded into the past as a Digimon that only showed up in one game, Gold V-Dramon became an evolution of V-mon's and Red V-Dramon an evolution of Elecmon's.
