  • I love this song. I have sung it in a church in London, with people from all over the world at L'Abri Fellowship in England, at a church on Bowen Island In British Columbia, here im my kitchen in California. I will take it with me wherever the Lord leads.

  • @gneemarie It's so wonderful to read of all the marvelous places this song has been sung, and by so many God-gifted people.. may you all be Blessed abundantly, and all whom you love. gneemarie, thank you for sharing your experience with us.. singing for the Lord is such a privilege, and singing beautifully inspiring words such as BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD ABOVE, is such an honor for us all..

  • I have sung this song many times at Penninsula Bible Church, near San Jose CA which has their sermons available in print or audio at pbcc.org .

Where have you sung it? I don't think I've sung it antwhere else, I loved this song and the video you have added. The words and music seem to get more powerful every year. It is probably simply that I am getting to know my Lord and Savior better every year, don't you think? -Kevin M

  • @kevinwwjd2 I've sung it up and down California, in many of our churches, at bible conferences, concerts and association meetings. As you know, this song is always a FAVORITE. Yes, dear brother, I believe it's the depths of Gratitude and Love the words inspire within our souls, thru the Glorification by God's Holy Spirit.. may he continue to inspire, uplift and bless you and all those whom you Love, dear one, beyond all measure.

  • Cloned robots obey as commanded or else hard punishment will be yours.

It's so easy to use FEAR and UTOPIA as a way to deceive ignorant people who have not entertained religions past.

Or entertained science as it now stands.

Fear based dogma only works on ignorant people.

But for some ignorance is absolute bliss

  • @SharedViewsNews Dear one, you assume fear brought me to the faith I've obtained in Jesus the Christ. . My faith n Him, was born out of the Selfless Love He expressed for me on a lonely and cruel cross. His message is neither one of FEAR, nor of UTOPIA, but of FORGIVENESS and SALVATION. Those who seek these things, know why they seek them; If you do not, then go in peace, and may God be with you on your journey. :)

  • Selah is a great group, and I love their version of this song. I wish more contemporary Christian songs had lyrics like this. I love the beautiful poetry and careful choice of words that some of the old hymns contain, and I like the contemporary style of Christian music. I especially like it when the two are blended so perfectly by groups like Selah or singers like Chris Tomlin ("Amazing Grace, My Chains are Gone" for example).
