Yes... where the shower arm meets the lugged ellbow on the wall.... teflon is needed most of the time.
Also the dipshit in the video who's using teflon on a joint where it isnt required.... is also applying teflon incorrectly. But what would i know?? im only a doctor.

@zak4tt4ck You do need it for most showerheads, but you don't need 3 turns, 2 is plenty to make a good seal.
