No problem. Thanks for actually taking that as a form of help instead of being defensive.

Well done, but focus on not trying to move your front foot before you move, and also try to relax and not be too tense. Another thing is to work you stances, so that they are longer and deeper. Great job, though.

Karate is a waste of time to learn, because when you see them fight, all you see is kicking and punching. All the fancy moves they do in the kata is not used. You might as well learn boxing for your arms, and ballet for your legs, because that's all we see when we see karate students, and their teachers fight in competition. Bottom line, if you what to fight like a karate master, then go to ballet classes and buy a punch bag, that way you will not waste your time on useless kata. AMEN.......

Maybe you are right. But Kata is a form of training. Is like why a soccer player should shot penalties when most of the game is runing behind the ball? Why a tennis player has to run miles straight forward when in his games he mostly run sideways? why?
Throughtout the repetition of something one can achieve a higher state of mind. Is like ... why some buddhist make a wonderful mandala to destroy it later? why?

Why doing kata when you never apply those techniques in a fight? In the long race you may achieve a state of mind that prevent you to be in a spot where you will be in a real life danger.
Oss. Thank you for your comment.

Correcto, tienes razón, debo mejorar eso. No te enseñaron mal, es que me falta práctica.
Gracias por tu comentario.
