Anterior Drawer for the shoulder is an orthopedic maneuver to help diagnose anterior instability of the shoulder. A positive test includes anterior displacement of the humeral head, clicking, and/or pain. The verbal description for this test was taken from Clinical Skills Documentation Guide for Athletic Training by Amato et al

  • @PackofDiscos they are probably reading it off of a book specialized for athletes.. plus if you look at the patient's shirt, it says "athletic training". so yeah, they are most likely only concerned with athletes and their instruction booklet probably DOES say athlete on it.

  • guurr every youtube video shows a different way of doing this test. and my book is showing me it in a different way. im soo confused

  • Not everyone who gets injured is an athlete. Call them patients for gods sake!

  • not bad but can't actually see anything going on with a t-shirt - would advise you doing seated can perform Anterior and posterior together with minimum fuss
