It was a terrible move for him to make the apology. Much bigger mistake than getting caught shagging around. Its his life, and it is absurd that so many self-righteous prigs feel that they have the right to judge him. Apologise to his wife if he wants save the marriage, sure; but to the whole world. What a load of crap.

Tiger shouldn't say he is sorry to anyone except his wife. That is crazy!! Tiger really did that speech to tell the damn media to leave his family alone. I don't believe in cheating but many people do it everyday!!! He is a great golfer . That is it!!

Congratz on 100 and heres to the next 100. And Tiger didnt owe the public anything he needs to get his life straight with his wife and family and thats IT! And it dosent change the fact he is an amazing golfer. He should have not gotten married if he knew he had a problem.

I made a point not to view his press conference. I think the purpose of the conference was to rebuild his shattered public image and nothing else.
His apology should have been a personal one. He doesn't owe the general public nothing. His wife (if she forgives him) is the only one who will have to lay with him when all the cameras are gone.
