Anyway Porolita as a meat substitute have you try to make seitan at home? It's really cheep and easy! It just takes a little time to do (1hour + 45 minutes coocking) but you just need 3 kg of flour (wich kind or brand it's up to you) and water! ;-) And it's sooo good! I love it

Oh yeah, vegan "normal food" replacements like veggie burgers and toffuti are all a lot more expensive that "normal food" in America too. It sucks. If a lot more people were vegan and buying it, it would be cheaper.

You have to except your family and friends are meattards, and they don't care about or respect your beliefs! They want to see you eat a dead animal so they can feel better about themselves. This makes them feel a victory over you. Good for you for not giving in.

The cream cheese is usually $3 USD and the Tofurky is about the same. It's expensive over there! But our vegetables are more expensive, too. $10 will get me just a day or two worth of fruit and veggies

Try the tofurkey roast, it is amazing. I think the prices are expensive where you live because there aren't as many vegans there.

Hey there I like your video blog =^) Where do you live? I am going vegan myself. I've been vegan on and off for a few years but I am going to go 100% vegan by the end of 2010.

You said you want to make shorter video blogs--have you thought of making yourself a script? that would probably do it. It helps me with public speaking events, if i have index cards with the points I want to mention. That way I don't go on and on.
