Really , my point is , they're different bands. As you said , it depends on the situation.

The performances are geared toward different tastes. Your taste gravitates toward Kiss. It's pretty simple. Zeppelin was near or at the top of their class and the same goes for Kiss. I wouldn't try to compare them musically if you're a Kiss fan. You'll lose every single time

now now.. lets all be friends.. I love both Zeppelin (I play in a Zep tribute band) and Kiss. I watched music remains the same on TV in the early eighties.. Tried again when it was showed in a movie theater a few years ago. I couldtn't bring myself to watch the whole thing. It's pure crap visually and performance. This little clip here above blow it to pieces imho. So I guess it is depending on the situation.

I love a good kiss show ive been fasinated with kiss since 7yrs old back when they were on the pual lyned show and when kiss meets the phantom, but as i got older and got into other music kiss has nothing on zep, floyd,rush & the stones or even ac/dc they just look good with the makeup and the blood and stage show i think today right now kid rock is prob one of the best musicians around he apeals to so many diff styals of music today and every band old and new respects him.
