Perhaps a midnight confession did take place. That was only after the damage has been done. This country will suffer Ted kennedy for years to come.

In the case of Fed Kennedy, er Ted Kennedy, perhaps the more interesting question or reminder is... who killed Mary Jo Kopechne. For those suggesting Ted was punished enough over it, pls remind me what punishment was that? Oh, HELL? Yes, that is certainly one of the things he has to look forward to.

And also, I'm still waiting for you to explain the 3 quotes I just threw at you. I can throw a few dozen more at you, in fact, given the Kennedy family's religious ties to the Vatican, I could use the whole book of Revelations to refute what you are saying.

I'm not the one judging him johnnyohness, the unborn babies that he committed genocide against, Mary Jo Kopechne, and all of the people who he harmed with his policy, his votes, his ideology, his poison.
I have an addendum to this video that I just put up with a link to an interview with a man whose 14 year old daughter Kennedy said he wanted to screw right to his face. Unrepentant adulterers and fornicators are not saved, let alone a willing servant of the whore of Babylon in Rome.

Hellsunicorn It amazes me how judgmental so many are on this thread. How dare any of us decide Ted's relationship between himself and his God. He did more in his career to pen legislation and to sponsor other efforts to help the less fortunate than anyone else. Midnight confessions? Where there is life there is hope.
The thief on the cross next to Jesus "remember me when you inter into your kingdom" (Jesus) "Tonight you will be with me in paradise" Smoke that in your pipe.

lol I love it when halfwit pseudo-Christians come on here trying to be clever. Can you even cite the bible verse that you are quoting?
I suggest instead of getting your scripture from what is probably an apostate church you dust off a copy of the New Testament, assuming you even own one, and do some research to find out just how much of it goes against what you are suggesting is truth.

In my delving into Augustinian grace theology, as well as accounts in scripture, midnight confessions are a pretty rare thing and usually only occur in a public way. I can envision Kennedy chanting prayers in a hypocritical fashion the way many heretics do on his death bed, but a real midnight confession would have required a true understanding of the Gospels, which is less than likely given the theology of his church and how contrary his sayings and doings were to them.
(Part 1)It is true that the Kennedy's were devout Catholics. His Mother was one of the last people to be given the Papel Knighthood.Kennedy was by his own admission a flawed individual. You ,however view morality in purely ecumenical terms. What you are basically demonizing about Ted was his ability to look on the Church for his own spiritual guidance , He got his values and morals where very one should, the Home and his own elevated ideals. This is what you find so distasteful, this is what you

One thing you should understand aafxa2 is that I am not a Roman Catholic, I am in communion with the Holy See of Utrecht via the American Old Catholic Church. Ted Kennedy was under a works covenant due to the heresy of molinism that has been pushed by the Jesuits for the past 400 years, so that is how I have judged him. Rome is not in communion with Christ so long as the Jesuits are tolerated.
P.S. - And for the record, I oppose any politician receiving any foreign title holding

What a bunch of crap. This babbel is nothing but your opinion. If you look at the teachings of Jesus he was always looking out for the least of the population.
The rich and well heeled didn't need special attention. "In as much as you have done it for one of these, you have done it for me" Ted was not perfect none of us are, but he believed in redemtion. He who is with out sin cast the first stone.
Get off your high horse Bud, it's not that complicated.

Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou were cold or hot.
Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth.
1 John 3:10 By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God.
This is some of what awaits you when you actually learn something from scripture that isn't constantly cited by the mainstream media.
