OwlNations way for converting a windows movie maker file (wmm) to a windows media player file (wmp). You might know that windows movie maker files cannot be uploaded to youtube unless they are converted to a windows media player file. This video will show you how to convert those files so you can upload your youtube video.
If you have edited the wmv file, just click save project as. Then just click save to my computer. Then just click next two times. Wait until the percent reaches to 100 and then go to "My Videos" (That's where it usually saves to) and then you can see that it is now a Windows Media Player file.
